The New York Journal of Sociology (ISSN 1935-9357) is published by the department of sociology and anthropology at SUNY Cortland under the editorship of Anne Vittoria.
TNYJS welcomes exceptional submissions from university faculty, researchers, and graduate students exploring the core problems of modernity. All theoretical, methodological, and substantive contributions are valued but we especially encourage work that extends the classical and critical traditions in a synthetic, multi-disciplinary direction. Moreover, as a journal with interdisciplinary aspirations, we are continuously seeking to enrich our contacts with historians, philosophers, psychologists, political scientists, geographers, etc.
