Mr. Andrés Ferrer is the President of the Fundación Moscoso Puello, a Non-Governmental Organization in the Dominican Republic. Andrés has a congenial nature, many contacts, and an unbounded enthusiasm for support of natural history research in the Dominican Republic. Andrés Ferrer, his family, and the Fundación Moscoso Puello have played an indispensable role in clearing our collecting permits, coordinating meetings with other NGO's and government officials, and providing logistical support, transportation and housing in the Dominican Republic. The ease and efficiency of our expeditions in the Dominican Republic are directly attributable to Andrés' hard work on our behalf, for which we are extremely grateful.
