About
I am an applied sociologist working in Enrollment Management & Academic Affairs at Binghamton University . In addition to working on university technology development and management projects, I have served as a senior academic adviser and as an adjunct instructor and visiting academic. Prior to coming to Binghamton University, I worked in the Dean's Office at the University at Buffalo , where I also taught and pursued my advanced degrees.
My research focus and academic work revolves around the area of law and society , particularly globalization and new interventionism. My latest work is focused on how globalization has impacted postindustrial cities, and their approach to redevelopment and economic boosterism. I continue to conduct research, teach, and I seek to remain engaged in the academic sociology community. I am presently teaching at Binghamton University and Cortland State College , in addition to working in administration. Prior to returning to higher education, I worked in business and industry as an operations manager.
