We hope to take you through the realms of classical conditioning, as defined and explained by Ivan Pavlov. The definitions and comparisons of this type of learning will be explained, as well as some examples given. You can learn more about Ivan Pavlov and his experiments, and it will take you through the types of classical conditioning, such as higher order conditioning, conditioned emotional responses, and phobias, as well as extinction. A brief discussion of physiology will be included. Please taketime to examine the references as found at the end of this tutorial.
